Recruitment
More than a job
Why would we be an employer of choice?
It’s often said that we are very fortunate to have people who have worked with this organisation for many years.
If you talk to people who work for us and ask why they are sticking with this organisation it is clear that they not only share a vision but are completely committed to the person they are employed to support.
Carol Anderson Support Worker who has been employed by Inclusion for a number of years stated “I look forward to going on shift with the person I work for” . Linsey Todd Support Worker who has been employed with Inclusion Glasgow for less than one year stated “It is nice to watch the person I work for grow in confidence and gain independence”.
Recruiting around People
Finding the right people to provide support is a major part of our recruitment process and we do this by matching people up according to their personality, gifts, experiences and hopes for the future. Our matching process is a recognised model of good practice.
Each person we serve has his or her own staff team. The individual selects them whenever possible. We aim to ensure that staff are not pooled across the organisation. Individual teams have the opportunity to get to know the person we serve very well, building real and lasting relationships with them. This leads to tremendous commitment from the teams.
What about you? Would you be interested in working with us? Inclusion Glasgow has a variety of employment opportunities at all levels. Interested?
